Double Chocolate

CHOCOLATE (cake) CHOCOLATE (frosting) CHOCOLATE (sprinkles) CHOCOLATE (candy)
OK...so maybe we should call this quadruple chocolate.
Whatever you call it, you'll love it.

Orange Chocolate

Orange you glad we added chocolate?  (could be sleep deprivation but I could NOT resist and I'm NOT sorry)  In all seriousness, this cupcake is divine.  Orange with chocolate is a classic winter indulgence add a cream cheese frosting and you have an awesome dessert.  Pair it with a moscato and you have an event!

Chocolate Raspberry

We've helped mother nature improve the raspberry!  (as if it needed any help)
We added C H O C O L A T E.  Now I realize, we're not the first people in history to make this leap, but I can say that I don't even like raspberries and I love this cupcake!  If you like raspberries AND chocolate, you will LOVE this cupcake.  Raspberry is truly the star of this cupcake, although you wouldn't know by looking at it.  A raspberry mousse is perfectly balanced inside this chocolate cupcake and topped with chocolate frosting.

Double Gingerbread

What's better than curling up in front of the fire with a glass of Zinfandel and a gingerbread cookie?  Eating a cupcake instead... topped with a cookie.  Add a spiced lemon cream cheese frosting and you'll be singing "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

Nutella Triple Cream Cheese

Why three types of cream cheese?  Because if one is good and two is better...three is best.  Vanilla, Peanut Butter and Nutella Cream Cheese frostings swirled together on top of a Nutella and cocoa flavored cupcake.  A coworker tried this for the first time.
Three words.  You're.  An.  Angel.  <said with a mouth full of cupcake and a frosting mustache>
She missed out on the best part - the Cabernet that pairs perfectly with this.  For those who would prefer a non alcoholic option, (why? I don't know, people have their own reasons) this is also great with coffee.  I had the coffee combo this morning for breakfast because I had to go to work today...and they frown on drinking before and during work.

Gluten Free Chocolate Mint

One word.  Yum.  If a cupcake could be described as refreshing, this one would be.  This cupcake is light and airy with a hint of mint icing.  I hate to even say the C word before Thanksgiving, but here goes nothin...this cupcake wants to be invited to your Christmas party.  There, I said it.  Just make sure there's a chilled Riesling within arms reach.  Better yet, maybe two.

Banana Split

This classic ice cream treat moves from the bowl to a cup.  A vanilla cupcake filled with banana and strawberry, whipped cream frosting drizzled with chocolate and covered with peanuts... With a cherry on top.  Pair with a Chardonnay featuring vanilla notes and you're in for a real treat.  Without the brain freeze.

Raspberry Champagne

Raspberries and champagne.  Simple and classic.  Raspberry mousse fills this cupcake topped with a champagne buttercream.  Enjoy this cupcake any time of the day...it is fruit based after all.  Admittedly a stretch, but who hasn't had (or wanted) a cupcake for breakfast.  We won't tell.  Pair this with a Riesling, but try to wait until afternoon.

Pumpkin Tiramisu

As you've probably noticed, Italian is a theme throughout Tortina and Vino so it's fitting that we'd showcase a classic Italian favorite - Tiramisu.  We've added pumpkin, a seasonal twist, to create a holiday cupcake - one that will be remembered long after people have forgotten your (spirited) rendition of deck the halls.  Pair this with a Shiraz but go easy on the 'spirits' if you're night includes an open microphone.

Lemon White Chocolate

White chocolate and lemon.  Sweet and tart.  Pair this with a sauvignon blanc and the citrus is undeniable.  Not enough to make you pucker, but just enough to make your mouth water.  Could be your new Saturday afternoon treat.

Caramel Apple

An apple (cupcake) a day keeps the doctor away.  OK, maybe it doesn't apply to the cupcake version but carpe diem!
The authentic apple flavor comes from real, fresh apple bits and a classic blend of spices for that bite you look for in a spice cake.
Cream cheese frosting.  Caramel.  Peanuts.  Delicious.
Pair this cupcake with a chilled moscato and a campfire.

Pumpkin Spice with Caramel Cream Cheese

Classic pumpkin spice cake with an updated cream cheese frosting.  If you've never experienced caramel cream cheese frosting, we're sorry.  We don't sell this frosting by the gallon, but if we did...

Banana Chocolate Chip with Peanut Butter Buttercream

This is a mash up of classic flavor combinations: Chocolate and Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter and Banana.  Each delightful on their own but irresistible together.  The banana cupcake has just the right amount of banana and the mini chocolate chips are the perfect size for a cupcake.  Topped off with peanut butter buttercream and crushed peanuts, it's the perfect match for a Sémillon.  Side note: The Peanut Butter Buttercream in this recipe was my first attempt and has been a favorite since the day we started.
